The club usually meets twice a month from September through May, on the second and fourth Saturdays, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. We meet to share tips and carve, and take care of club business.

The club meets at the Anchorage Church of Christ, 2700 DeBarr Road, in Anchorage, across from Alaska Regional Hospital, unless otherwise noted.

Special Club Events

October 13, 2007, demonstration of wood carvers, turners, and workers at Wasilla Middle School; artists can sell their works at this event.

October 20, 2007, Fall Seminar at the Sons of Norway Hall off of Briarwood and Dimond, in Anchorage. This is a great time to come and learn some new carving techniques.

February 17 - March 2, 2008, Artistry in Wood at the Northway Mall in Anchorage. The 17th and 18th set-up exhibit and judging on the 19th. February 20 - March 2, exhibit open to the public.

March 8, 2008, Spring Seminar at the Sons of Norway Hall off of Briarwood and Dimond, in Anchorage. This is a great time to come and learn some new carving techniques.
